Overview:
Boy Scouts are now 100 years old. Cub Scouts is over 75 years old and our Pack is over 55 years old. Scouting is a family oriented program and parent participation is encouraged. We currently have over 70 registered boys in grades 1 through 5. Our leadership consists of over 20 registered adult leaders. We are a member of the Cradle of Liberty Council / Lafayette District. The Cub Scout program consists of 3 Den meetings and a Pack meeting each month. The pack meeting is a family event that all are encouraged to attend. The Scouts are broken into Dens according to grade/age.
- Tigers: First Grade
- Tiger Scouts must have an adult partner present at all meetings.
- Wolves: Second Grade
- Bears: Third Grade
- Webelos: Fourth & Fifth Grades
When and Where
Pack 230 meets every Thursday night during the school year from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at St. James Lutheran Church at 93 Kugler Road, Limerick, PA 19468
Costs
The yearly cost is $45.00 for new scouts and $75.00 per year for returning scouts (Due every March). Our fee covers the Scouts registration, books, awards, Boys Life magazine subscription and other associated costs. Other fees may be charged for additional activities such as trips, camping and Den dues. There is a $10 discount for the second (or third) child from the same family.
